I’m Meg, the founder and creator of The Healing Barn.
I live on a ranch with 2 adopted horses, 3 rescue miniature ponies and 3 barn cats. Ok, it's more like 3 house cats, you know how that goes!
I am a hairstylist, 12 years and counting. I love home decor, design and renovating my “fixer upper”. Basically, I just love to be creative.
If you haven't noticed yet, I love horses! They are majestic, beautiful creatures with so much wisdom to share. They are intuitive beings and I learn so much from them. Our animals needed me, but oh how I needed them. They slow me down, they make me listen and they show me how to connect to nature to meet their needs but also mine.
I have always been passionate about a more holistic approach when it comes to living healthy. Over the last few years it has become crucial and absolutely necessary to remove as many toxins out of my home and off of my body. I have learned that our personal hygiene products and everyday cleaning supplies are some of the most toxic things we can have around us and on us. Yuck!! Once you know the damage it is doing, there is no turning back!
It was very frustrating trying to buy all-natural products so I decided to put my trade and my beliefs to work! I made my own products that would not only change my life but change the lives of my clients, friends and family. I have felt so much relief from “cleaning up” my home and lifestyle and I want that for everyone! I have poured my heart and soul into an all-natural product line that represents me, my values, my farm, my animals, and my journey to this “new” yet “old” way of living, letting nature heal us.

Dolce
Hello, my name is Dolce. I came to The Healing Barn a year and a half ago. My favourite thing to do here is follow Meg around while she's doing chores, I love to help her.
Maraca
I am Maraca, I am a Canadian Sport horse. 15 years old. I have been at The Healing Barn for 3 years. I have a very important role here, as I am the reason that this place exists.
Megan and I fell in love 7 years ago while she was volunteering at my old barn. She visited me every spare moment she had and eventually God gave her a farm so we could live
together! My favourite treats are apples and carrots
Bootsy
Hi I am bootsy! I am a 15 year old mare, quarter horse. I have been at the Healing Barn for 3 years. I am great company for Maraca, we hang out everyday. I am the farm security. I keep an eye on the barnyard and make sure everything is ok. I love children as I can really relate
to them. My favourite treats are apples and sunflower seeds.
Porter
Hello my name is Porter. I am 9 years old. I have been at The Healing Barn for 2 years. I am a miniature pony and I am pretty laid back and easy going. I like going for walks.
Treats will hurt my hooves so I just stick to hay! I always have a good time when children come to visit.
Gruvi
Hi, I am Gruvi. I am 6 years old. I have been at The Healing Barn for 2 years. I am a miniature pony. I'm very curious and brave. I have lots of energy and I like to run and play.
My brothers and I horse around a lot in the paddock. I like to go for walks and run the track around the property. I enjoy time on the pasture to eat
grass.
Hooch
Hey there I’m Hooch. I am 9 years old. I have been at The Healing Barn for 2 years. I am a miniature pony. I like to play with my brother Gruvi, we tease each other a lot. I like Running
around and playing in the paddock with Meg too. I also enjoy going for walks, but only if my brothers come too.

Oliver
Hey, I’m Oliver. I am 3 years old. I am in charge of the Barn. I make sure the homeless and less fortunate animals have a place to stay and eat. I have two sisters that I love and look
out for. I spend most of my time outside, but I do like to go to the house to snuggle with my mom, especially when it's cold out.
Gabana
Hi I am Gabana, Gabby for short, and also because I talk a lot. I came to The Healing Barn with my sister Dolce. I love to be outside.
